Hi there Everyone,
Just introducing myself here.. My name is Kelly, I am a 28yr old mum of 2 kiddies with Special needs.. My daughter Laura has GDD (6) and my son Alex has Autism and GDD. Im an Aussie mum too.. We're pretty new to Autism, Alex was diagnosed beginning of September this year. Although, we were pretty sure of the outcome of the diagnosis, it hit myself like a ton of bricks.. Things are moving along with the therapies and early intervention for Alex.. He scored 45 on the Test.. Which puts him at Severe.. Not talking at the moment, but is vocal, so im hoping thats a good sign that speech will come out in the future..

Hi Kelly
I'm new to this site and autism my 2yr old was diagnosed in dec last yr, how is it going with the early intervention? We have seen one child phyc who was an absolute idiot, thankfully we found a new OT and speech therapist at wetheril park Sydney the difference has been amazing, r u from NSW? I'm in Sydney
